This class is designed for students who already have experience with lathe forming and blowing and are ready to dive into more advanced projects like reinforced joints, long-section tubing work, precision seals, and multi-stage assembly methods. What you’ll learn:
Assembling multi-section forms with precision
Seals, bridges, and necking
Advanced flaring and shaping techniques
Working with tubes and angles
Creating function-forward or display-quality vessels
Strategies for minimizing distortion and stress
Annealing considerations for larger and multi-part work
This class is ideal for students looking to produce complex blown forms, custom vessels, or prepare for future work in scientific, functional, or artistic production.
